Ostreiculture is the breeding of oysters.

It is practised in a medium salted, in several phases since the ocean into the Atlantic marshes, before finishing in your plate. In the cycle of reproduction one distinguishes the phase of collecting right after the reproduction, the followed half-breeding of the breeding in full water, in order to bring oysters to a commercial size and to finish the phase of refining into clear in the salted marshes.

This breeding is practised on the whole of the French coasts.
